Softball Spring Season

The spring is our big season for softball.  We field recreational and competitive teams in the spring.  Rec teams play 8-14  games based on age division, with rankings at the end of the season determining eligibility for the End of Season Tournament.  Comp teams play 10-12 games, in addition to 4-5 tournaments.

Important Dates

Specific dates will be added for Spring 2024 as they are available.  

  • Dec 17, 2023 - Comp tryout registration opens
  • Jan 7, 2024 - Comp tryouts held
  • Jan 29, 2024 - Rec league registration opens
  • Feb 24-25 and/or Mar 3-4, 2024 - Comp IPGSA Tune Up Tournament
  • Mar 24, 2024 - Rec league registration closes
  • April 1, 2024 - Rec practices begin
  • May 2024 - Rec games begin
  • Late June 2024 - Rec End of Season tournament, season ends
  • Mid July 2024 - Comp End of Season tournament, season ends

Divisions offered

Recreational teams will be formed at 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U age divisions.  Competitive teams will be formed at the 12U & 14U age divisions.  

Spring Age Rules

The age limits shown below apply to the Spring 2024 season.   

  • 8U Division: For players not turned 9 before Jan 1, 2024 
  • 10U Division: For players not turned 11 before Jan 1, 2024 
  • 12U Division: For players not turned 13 before Jan 1, 2024 
  • 14U Division: For players not turned 15 before Jan 1, 2024
