Fall 2024 Softball Registration is now open:
If your league has reached capacity, a wait list registration will be triggered. If LYSBA has enough kids for an additional team, we will make every effort to provide the opportunity. Please sign up for the Wait List in order to obtain enough kids to provide a full roster.
Fall Ball consists of approximately 5 double headers on Saturdays. Practices are twice per week, during the week. There is an end of season tournament as well.
Recreational league provided uniforms will NOT include pants. Jerseys, socks, and belts will be provided.
10U All-Star Softball Tryout Signup is OPEN
LYSBA will be forming an All-Star Team from our 10U Rec teams. The All-Star team is a hybrid approach to competitive softball, where we will play our normal rec schedule and practice to compete in the IPGSA competitive division tournaments. Rather than making a full commitment to competitive softball, this allows younger players to expose themselves to competitive softball without all the travel.
The All-Star Team will compete in the Competitive Halloween Softball Tournament and up to four tournaments in the Spring of 2025. The All-Star Team will practice once per week on Friday evenings in Louisville. Tryouts will be in the Fall. This signup is to express your strong interest in trying out for the team to help us determine how many kids are interested.
The All-Star team will be provided at an additional cost to our rec program. The fees will cover our tournament entry fees and uniforms.
